On my tours I will show you the snakes, alligators, monkey, dolphins, spiders, frogs and the many birds that inhabit the region. You will learn about what it takes to survive in the jungle. We will fish for piranha, peacock bass, catfish, dourado and others. Sport Fishing Tours - The Amazon is one of the worlds best fishing areas
with Amazonecodiscoveries...we organize, 2 to 7 days sport fishing packages according to your requirements. We have a jungle lodge to stay at with private rooms with air conditioning all have private bath facilities. Our guides, are well experienced, they were raised in the area, and learned how to fish ever since they were young. Our sport fishing is all done in our speed boats, 6m long canoes, with 40 hp engines. A cooler box is provided in the boat to keep your water or drinks cold.

This package starts at 7:00 am from Manaus.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Manaus or from the the airport. You can stay at a hotel in the city or if you don’t want to stay in Manaus, we can take you directly to the lodge upon your arrival. (Please note if you arrive in the evening it may not be possible to take you directly to the lodge at night) Plan accordingly. From Manaus the trip to the lodge takes 3 hours by boat and van.

Let me show you the beauty of the Amazon in just one day....
I pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 am
We then head to main port in the center of Manaus, where we take a speed boat, to begin the journey to the east of Manaus, to see the fantastic meeting of the two rivers Rio Negro and Rio Solimoes ….An explanation will be given about the two rivers and why the waters don’t mix together.
We then continue the journey to visit a native family that lives on floating buildings, also there will be an option to fish for the giant fresh water fish, called ( Pirarucu Arupaima gigas) , and they grow to as large as 3 meters in length and weigh 180 kg or more.
After this we continue on the tour, to the national park called Janauri Lake arriving at this point at 11:00 am. There we are going to see the handy craft that is made by natives dwelling there.
There we will do a canopy walk to see the giant water lilies, wild life, and have a very good typical lunch. After lunch we continue on the tour, where we are going to explore the flooded areas, to see more wild life, and also to see the giant Samauma tree. Continuing the tour you will have an opportunity to swim with the pink dolphins. Before we continue on to visit an indigenous native family, It is there you will get to see a native ritual dance. We then head back to Manaus, arriving at 5:00pm.

PRESIDENTE FIGUEIREDO PACKAGE
We pick you up at 8;00 am from your Hotel lobby
We head to the north of Manaus to President Figueiredo
located approximately 120 km from Manus.
Arriving at our destination
The first thing we are going to do is the MARUAGA
Caverns well known for their fantastic view We will arrive at the caverns by foot.This is the only way you can get to them.
During the hike the guide will give an explanation of the ecosystem of the area
and show the medicinal plants along the way. Arriving at the caverns the guide will give and explanation how the caverns were
formed We are going to explore 2 Caverns in the area this visit will last about
2 hours. We will then proceed to the village of Presidente Figueiredo. Stopping there
to have lunch at1:00 pm. Consisting of typical foods of the area like locally caught fish
cooked to your preference on how you like them.
After lunch we are going to visit the village and then head to the water falls
CACHOEIRO SANTUARIO Upon arriving at the water falls an explanation will be given
and if you want to you can so some swimming and relaxing.
After visiting the water falls we return to Manaus at 4:30 pm Arriving at 7:00 pm

vehicles (van or car) depending on the number of people booked for that days tour.

TEPEQUEM SAFARI PACKAGE 6 days 5 nights
We pick you up at your hotel lobby at 7:30 am
We head north of Manaus our first stop will be Presidente Figueiredo there we will take a short hike to visit the fantastic Caves at MARUAGA and visit 2 caves during this part of the tour this will take about 2 hrs.
We will then proceed to the village near there for a typical Amazonian regional lunch.
After lunch we will then visit the water falls at CACHOEIRA SANTUARIO
Where you will be able to rest and relax and enjoy the cool water make sure you bring some swimming gear for a refreshing dip. Afterwords we head back to the village for an over night.
DAY2: We begin with breakfast at 7:00am
We then continue on our journey further north on the way we going to cross a native reservation however it will not be possible to stop for pictures of this. We continue our journey crossing the equator and heading North. There we will have a short stop for some picture taking before we continue to on to the city of Boa Vista in the far north of Brazil. We will stop for lunch at Boa Vista the capital of the state RORAIMA in the northern territory of Brazil. After lunch we again we head off towards Venezuela, but we will not cross the border as our final destination is TEPEQUEM MOUNTAIN where the most of our activities will take place.
DAY 3: After breakfast at 7:00 am
We head off to hike on a trail that takes us to the highest point of the mountain known as Plator Heights (1,020 meters in autitude) this will take about 5 hrs
Stopping for lunch along the way. At around 3:00pm we will visit a spectacular water fall with an amazing panoramic view of the region and while there we may be able to spot, some birds like Macaws and Tucans. In the evening we will prepare for the next days adventures during our overnight.
DAY 4: We awake to breakfast at 7:00am
Today we will hike on the most wild and exciting part of the tour it will take approximately 3 hrs to reach the camp ground in the middle of the jungle, When we arrive there we are going to prepare our lunch for ourselves and then after lunch at 3:00pm we will explore the aerea to see more of the wild life returning to camp for Dinner, and an overnight in the jungle.
DAY 5: We have breakfast at 7:00am ,
After which we hike futher into the jungle exploring to see some more wild life that is in the area with a native guide from the area. Stopping for Lunch.
After lunch we take a short hike with an explanation of flora and fauna of the region returning to camp for dinner and an overnight.
DAY 6 We have breakfast at 7:00am
After which we return to the village for lunch imnediately after lunch we head back to Boa Vista an use the rest of the day riding back to Manaus

On my tours I take you into the Mamori-Juma Eco Reserve about 80km south of Manaus. The region is a great place to see the vast wildlife, birds, monkeys, dolphins, spiders, snakes, jaguars and others. For many years now the locals are introduced in the benefits of Eco Tourism and the need to preserve the rain forest.
What we will do:
Jungle hiking with explanation of medical plants we find
Canoeing in flooded land (Igapo)
Fishing for peacock bass, catfish, piranha and others,
Observation of birds (sunrise tour)
Observation of monkeys, sloths and other primates
Alligator spotting (at night)
Night trekking with observation of rodents (Paca, Cutia, Tapir etc)
Introduction into survival techniques (building camps and traps)
Visiting local ( indigenous) communities
Overnight we can stay in a comfortable lodge with air conditioning, or in a local house, it depends on what you are looking for. You should have some time to fully enjoy the experience. I recommend at least 4 days.
All of my tours are planned individually, I take care of you from your arrival in Manaus, and for sure you will be in safe hands until your departure.

Rubins Billy the owner is originally from a location near the border of Brazil and Guyana in the northern territory of Brazil. He is from an indigenous tribe of the region called the Wapixanas. His knowledge about the rain forest, wild life and vegetation is from the area where he grew up. He has worked several years as a jungle guide in the Amazon. In 2002 he decided to open his own jungle guide business specializing in organizing individual excursions into the virgin rain forest such as remote areas along the river such as the swamp land flooded forest environment and to areas near lake Juma, and the Anavilhanas resort.
